    Website Revamp!

    Posted by admin On June - 14 - 20103 COMMENTS

    After some input from senior leadership at the stuttgart pre-camp the website has had some sweet new additions. We now have recent photos and live update streams displayed neatly on the home page along with a welcome message and countdown timer. The goal is that these features will make life easier for scouters who wish to find out what the troop is up to.

    Soon to come is the photo galleries and groups. There will be a gallery/group for every event our troop has attended as well as a gallery for each day at the jamboree.

    Precamp Showdown Update

    Parents,

    Heading into the final throws of the Pre-Jamboree Weekend just a few final notes;

    1) Scouts should come packed according to the troop packing list, with the gear they intend to use.  Information available at www.tacjamboree.com I know many of your scouts are senior and “know how to pack” but the intent is for us to get a sense of what the bags will look like and for the leadership to check the gear presented.

    2) All items will be provided just like the jamboree – tents, food, patrol gear ect.

    3) This is intended to be a full dress rehearsal —

    Lastly,  I want to thank everyone for their support, clearing schedules, missing soccer games, studying for finals on the planes, flying from the U.S. and England, and driving from Belgium and across Europe to make this happen, your support is recognized and appreciated…we are well on our way to making this the “best most exciting, fun-filled Jamboree ever!”

    PS remember to bring your passports and military ID Card.

    YIS,

    John Cass

    Scouters and Parents,

    I wanted to send a more direct email to all of the great families supporting Troop 138.  We are merely 53 days away from the Jamboree…the clock is ticking and the Committee and Scoutmasters are in full-swing in an attempt to deliver to your son the best, most exciting, safest, fun-filled Jamboree experience ever…but we still need your help.
