Looking back over the past week, I’ve dug up some group photos of the boys. As we toured DC we took time to stop and make memories in front of monuments such as the Iwo Jima monument and the Lincon memorial. Take a moment to look at the shots!

For those collecting ROCKERS! We salute you!

    Dear Parents and Family,

We have been having tons of fun here at the 2010 National Jamboree.  We went to the Technology Quest portion of the Jamboree on Wednesday afternoon.  It was loaded with loads of cool new technologies.  From high tech laser guided GPS systems that can fit on your wrist.  All the way to fully functional holograms.  It was cool and fun.  We learned about lots of new technologies that will be benefiting the human race in a few years.

We also got to do some merit badges at the Merit Badge Midway.  Some of us also were out trying the Scuba and Snorkeling tank.  There are lots of people doing the Actions centres which include riflery, archery, shotguns, and BMX bikes and lots more.  M Cozzone has almost become an expert on the shotgun shooting!

After activities were done we all decided to go out and trade patches, and see some of the local areas arena shows. Some of us got really neat patches, others got amazing patches.  On the notion of patches we did not realize how recognized a council we are here in America.  Just the other night we had a line of scouts waiting to trade even before we were able to trade.  The troop 138 rule is that we are only allowed to trade after dinner is cleaned away until we earn all our rockers.

This morning started with a rush to go to the OA Mysterium compass.  We cannot tell you what was inside, it is a mystery after all, but it was a thrilling experience, which everyone is still raving about!  After a few hours of that God decided to have some fun and send us a little rain.  Please note by little I mean alot.  It was coming down hard really hard.  All of us sook shelter in nearby tents giving us a chance to talk to other campers just like us.
